Hydrogen (H2)
CAS Nr : 1333-74-0
Hydrogen, which is also called dihydrogen (H2) in its gaseous state, is invisible, odorless, and very light.
Hydrogen is a co-product that is formed during the electrolysis of a sodium chloride solution via the membrane process.
Kuhlmann Europe is an important producer of hydrogen in the Hauts-de-France region, at our site in Loos, and we are studying new applications, such as:
- Powering fuel cells for mobility
- Production of electrical energy
- Decarbonation by capturing CO2 and forming new molecules
